Objectives:
-To prepare highly qualified students to perform scientific research and extend it to the community.
-To develop biotechnological alternatives to transform the environment. To perform economical and technical feasibility studies for the development of biotechnological processes.
-To conduct and publish scientific and technological researchs, related to bioprocesses, with the aim to obtain secondary metabolic products.

The Master in Biotechnology is a highly qualified professional who is able to perform in the scientific and biotechnological fied.
The Master in Biotechnology is a counsellor and assessor in all the different areas of industrial production and economic activities.
The Master in Biotechnology can teach at an under graduate and post graduate level.

Having a first degree (BSc or equivalent) in Pharmacy and Biochemistry, Human Medicine, Veterinary, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Biology.

The Master in Science Programme in Food Technology has the following goals:
-To form high standard professionals, suited for teaching and for scientific and technological research in the food sciences.
-To develop the spirit for research and team work, as well as for permanent collaboration, with the proper ethics to make possible the development of appropriate technologies.
-To form qualified professionals who can give valuable scientific contributions for peruvian society through the University, government or private organisms related to this programme.

Perform scientific research in the field of Fodd Sciences.
Transfer highly qualified knowledge to under graduate and post graduate students, and people related to the study field.
Be an assessor or counsellor at International or National Organizations.
